The data analyst is responsible for assisting the CSO, CHRO, and CNE in providing and accumulating financial, HR and other pertinent data to facilitate analysis of specified data sets in addition to analysis and exploration of additional data sets as requested. The data to be collected, collated and analyzed will be from various MLH systems including both financial, HR, and marketing databases across various entities. A Brief Overview
The data analyst is responsible for assisting the CSO, CHRO, and CNE in providing and accumulating financial, HR and other pertinent data to facilitate analysis of specified data sets in addition to analysis and exploration of additional data sets as requested. The data to be collected, collated and analyzed will be from various MLH systems including both financial, HR, and marketing databases across various entities. What you will do

  • Performs monthly reporting and analysis functions independently.
  • Assists and support CSO, CHRO, and CNE in data analysis and production of reports.
  • Prepares and supports with reports for system meetings along with additional reports a requested to support strategy, HR and Nursing operations.
  • Collaborates with department leaders to collect and generate reports.
  • Demonstrates effective customer relation skills, promotes a positive work environment and contributes to the overall team effort.
  • Understands, applies, and supports departmental and company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Creates and produces forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, etc.
  • Ensures data quality when communicating finding to stakeholders.


Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration/Management
  • Bachelor's Degree Finance
  • Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Administration

Experience Qualifications

  • 3-5 years Finance or Business Minimum of three (3) years of applicable Finance, Business or related experience
  • Prior experience using Workday and Epic is highly preferred.

Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of computer accounting applications, including general ledger, operations reports and financial statement preparation and financial analysis.
  • Solid skills and knowledge to operate standard office technologies (including personal computer, fax machine, and copier) Microsoft Word processing, spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel), and related software programs.
  • High degree of proficiency in verbal and written communication and interpersonal relations in dealing with all levels of management.
  • Skill and proficiency in applying customer service principles, concepts, and techniques.
  • Ability to work without close supervision and exercise independent judgement.
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and maintain control of workflow.
  • Ability to work overtime during end of the fiscal year and during the budget preparation.
  • Ability to handle time pressures and deadlines.
  • Knowledge and experience in leading and facilitating projects.
  • Effective collaborative skills.

Supervision Provided by this Position

  • There are no lead or supervisory responsibilities assigned to this position.

Physical Demands

  • The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
  • Must have good balance and coordination.
  • The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
  • The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
  • The conditions to which the Associate will be subject in this position: The Associate is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work.
