A Brief Overview
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting the Manager and the Supply Chain Corporate Directors by providing complex financial analysis to support the mission of the Materials/Supply Chain Division. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.
What you will do
- Completes assigned routine projects using analytical techniques to meet division goals and objectives.
- Plans, organizes, develops and completes special projects as necessary.
- Performs process improvement analysis projects for the division as appropriate.
- Demonstrates effective customer relation skills, promotes a positive work environment and contributes to the overall team effort.
- Understands, applies, and supports departmental and company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Performs other job functions as assigned or requested.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Business Administration/Management
- Bachelor's Degree Information Systems
Experience Qualifications
- Accounting, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Receiving Preferred
- Four years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Skills and Abilities
- Skill and proficiency in applying customer service principles, concepts, and techniques.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Good influencing and consultative skills.
- Ability to understand and prepare moderately complex written materials.
- High degree of proficiency in verbal and written communication and interpersonal relations in dealing with all levels of management.
- Ability to work without close supervision and exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and maintain control of workflow.
- Ability to handle time pressures and deadlines.
Supervision Provided by this Position
- There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this position.
Physical Demands
- The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
- Must have good balance and coordination.
- The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
- The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
- The conditions to which the Associate will be subject in this position: The Associate is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work.
