Responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and coordinating the activities of the provider relations functions for the Physician Enterprise. Accountable for and serves as a liaison between new providers and various groups involved in recruitment and onboarding to ensure all activities, and paperwork submissions are occurring timely and addressing issues along the way. A Brief Overview
Responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and coordinating the activities of the provider relations functions for the Physician Enterprise. Accountable for and serves as a liaison between new providers and various groups involved in recruitment and onboarding to ensure all activities, and paperwork submissions are occurring timely and addressing issues along the way. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

What you will do

  • Works closely with Physician Recruitment, Provider Enrollment, and Medical Staff to manage physician onboarding and credentialing from offer acceptance to orientation.
  • Works with immigration attorneys to secure and renew VISAs for providers.
  • Works with Operations Leadership and MLH Legal Department to create new provider contracts, contract renewals and contract amendments.
  • Submits contract requests to Legal via Ntracts after consultation with operational leaders on terms and manage FMV and SLT approvals.
  • Identifies areas of improvement of provider onboarding, enrollment, and credentialing processes; develops and implement solutions to improve new hire experience.
  • Performs other job functions as assigned or requested.


Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Administration
  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration
  • Bachelor's Degree Marketing

Experience Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience working with physicians and providers in either a recruitment or a physician practice administration role.

Skills and Abilities

  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office program (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) or programs as indicated in the specific function within the department.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and strong facilitation skills with proven ability to lead projects to desired outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven interpersonal skills with experience providing complex administrative and consultative support in a high-profile environment with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to evaluate situations and be able to anticipate needs and determine urgent matters that require attention.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.

Supervision Provided by this Position

  • There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this position. May act as project lead on assigned projects.

Physical Demands

  • The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
  • Must have good balance and coordination.
  • The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
  • The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
  • The conditions to which the Associate will be subject in this position: The Associate is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work.
  • Occasional travel to other facilities is required.
