Responsible for the administration of the materials management function including the receipt, handling and processing of products, managing the tracking system for inventory purposes. Performs manual duties related to the movement of products and materials. Responsible for collaborating with and supporting assigned leaders by providing solutions regarding all aspects of time and attendance administration. A Brief Overview
Responsible for the administration of the materials management function including the receipt, handling and processing of products, managing the tracking system for inventory purposes. Performs manual duties related to the movement of products and materials. What you will do
  • Monitors the units daily to assure adequate inventory of supplies are readily available.
  • Maintains appropriate charging information system for chargeable items and assures that all equipment is in the unit.
  • Maintains MLH Associates time and attendance for assigned unit.

Education/Formal Training Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Associate's Degree

Work Experience Requirements
  • 1-3 years Logisitics
  • 1-3 years Materials management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of basic principles of business management and hospital operation.
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with management and associates.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database systems.

Supervision Provided by this Position
  • There are no lead or supervisory responsibilities associates with this position.

Physical Demands
  • The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
  • Must have good balance and coordination.
  • The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
  • The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
  • The conditions to which the Associate will be subject in this position: The Associate is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work
